An Ode to Kiran & Pradeep

Our Mixed Program titled An Ode to Kiran & Pradeep features three ballets: Blue Curve of the Earth, Short Ride in a Fast Machine and Within the Golden Raga. The evening explores the various facets of Kunal Ranchod’s parents’ impactful journey to calling Canada home. All three ballets are inspired by and interlaced with anecdotes that painted Kunal’s childhood; stories involving love and cultural identity, the lifelong attachment to one’s birthplace and finally, the journey of a refugee.
